Cecil Lopez, Founder & Proposed Superintendent

Transforming STEM Education Through Visionary Leadership and Innovation

Cecil Lopez is a results-driven executive leader with more than two decades of experience transforming curriculum and instruction across PK–12 schools. Recognized for her impact on school turnaround and innovation, she leads with a strategic blend of data-driven decision-making, instructional design, and systems-level thinking that empowers teachers and accelerates student success.

As a districtwide School Leadership Instructional Lead, Cecil has partnered with over 40 campuses to design and implement coherent systems for instructional excellence. Her leadership has driven double-digit STAAR gains and TEA distinctions by embedding data-driven practices, building instructional capacity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Earlier, as Assistant Principal in Crowley ISD, Cecil launched the district’s first PBIS initiative, later recognized by Region XI as a regional model for positive school culture. At Istation, she authored the national K–5 Math Instructional Framework, helping shape a digital curriculum now used in classrooms nationwide.

Cecil also serves as Founder and CEO of Gaibe Learning, an EdTech company pioneering an AI-powered math ecosystem that delivers real-time insights to students, teachers, and families—extending her lifelong mission to connect innovation with learning impact.

Deeply rooted in Fort Worth, she partners with civic, business, and faith leaders to strengthen local education. Cecil’s visionary leadership, strategic execution, and passion for community are shaping the future of The Peak International STEM Academy—and the next generation of innovators.
